you've got enough on
your plate
I'm the travel advisor behind Equilibrium Travel, and the friend who lights up when you say “I need a vacation” and immediately starts imagining the kind of trip that would actually make your shoulders drop three inches.
Hi there! I'm Elizabeth.
If we were sitting together over coffee and you said, “I want a really good trip, but I cannot be the one to plan it,” I would probably laugh, nod a little too hard, and say, “That sounds about right. Hand me the mental load. We can make this feel a lot easier.”
Most of the people we work with are already carrying a lot: demanding jobs, family, life logistics, a very full brain. The idea of researching destinations, comparing hotels, and stitching it all into a “perfect” itinerary feels like one more job, not something to look forward to. Our role is to take that off your plate so your time away actually feels like a real break.
so...what do we actually do?
I am really good at reading people and noticing what they actually need from time off, not just the headline version of the trip. I listen for what makes your eyes light up, where your voice sounds tired, and how you want to feel when you get back home.
Are you craving deep rest and long naps, connection and unhurried dinners, adventure and new perspectives, or some mix of all of the above? I use that to plan trips that feel immersive, restorative, and meaningful to you, not just what travel guides say you are “supposed” to do
There is also a strong “no gold stars for suffering” policy around here. You don't have to prove you are adventurous enough, busy enough, or “well traveled” enough to deserve a really good trip.
You get to be honest about your bandwidth, your budget, your social battery, and your non-negotiables. I care much more about your trip fitting your real life and nervous system than about squeezing in every must see sight. That is the heart of Equilibrium: thoughtful planning, grounded luxury, and emotional ease, all in balance.
I am obsessed with travel and Pilates, and my family. I'm a horse girl at heart living in Austin, Texas, and I take your time off very seriously. I could happily talk for too long about good hotels and airport lounges, and I love clear plans, good systems, and organizational tools that keep everything tidy without making things complicated.
The trips we create together are calm and considered: slower mornings, a few intentional “wow” moments that feel truly worth your energy, and logistics that work quietly in the background so you can stay in “I am on vacation” mode.
You are not here for chaos disguised as adventure, and neither am I. You bring the honesty about what you need. I bring the gentle structure, clear plans, and “this is taken care of” energy so your trip can feel like a real reset, not another thing to manage.
